It's hard for me to believe that my son has already completed two years of elementary school. When B was just a little guy, we started him out in a local preschool, which he truly loved and thrived in. The transition to elementary school was a bit hard on him. We dealt with daily anxiety issues, and I wondered if they would stick around for years to come? B's kindergarten teachers helped him to work through those issues by loving on him so much. By the time he started first grade, he was worry-free, and so excited for another school year to begin.
B shares his love for his teachers by making thank you cards with Crayola crayons and markers.
B's success in overcoming his fears and anxieties at school is all because of his amazing teachers, and the wonderful faculty and staff at his school. We've never met a more loving, caring group of teachers and administrators that just absolutely love children and have a passion for not only teaching but nurturing.
We want to join with thousands of parents and students across the US in thanking the teachers who have made such an incredible, unforgettable difference in the lives of our children.
Families are encouraged to create a thank you card for a special teacher in their world and upload to www.Crayola.com/ThankATeacher for a chance to win grand prizes for their family, teacher and school!
Ten grand prize packs will be awarded, inclusive of:
$10,000 classroom makeover for the teacher
One year supply of Crayola products for the school
$1,000 scholarship for the student
$1,000 gift card for both the teacher and school
Free CreatEd seminar for the school
In addition to the grand prizes, one lucky entrant will have his or her thank you note featured on a special pack of Crayola crayons this holiday. In addition, weekly sweepstakes will run concurrently with the contest, offering entrants a chance to win $500 gift cards for themselves and their teachers. The contest and sweepstakes will run through August 25, 2018.
We look forward to seeing your child's thank you notes and cards on the Crayola website!
