It's the day after election day. Some of the people I voted for won and a few did not. Sometimes I wonder how much my vote truly matters. All I know is that yesterday I felt too horrible to drive myself to vote and was going to wait until Matt came home. When he came home later than anticipated, I said we didn't have to go, and started to make dinner.
During dinner, I couldn't shake a nagging feeling, I had to vote. After dinner, he kindly drove to our polling station and I placed my vote, about 30 minutes before the polls closed here in CT.
We vote, the kids get the stickers! |
Some of the people I voted for won and a few did not. I did my civic duty and placed my vote and my next step is to pray for all of our elected officials, whether I voted for them, or not.
