One of my favorite memories from one of our road trips was camping. We camped in in Yellowstone and we camped on the beach right near the Redwood Forest. I was able to try the self-inflating sleeping pad. I was a little skeptical since I've never had a self-inflating pad, but it worked! The mat is the perfect thickness to provide just enough support. The thickness also allows the mat to be stored very easily in the bag. It isn't like some products you can't get back into the bag after opening.
We haven't gone camping yet, but my youngest does love to be outside with all of us and crawl around. I have been using the mat in our yard for extra cushion when the little man is with us outdoors. It's nice for me to sit on as it provides that extra cushion.
