Thanks again to Kristie Tapper for providing me with product to review. All thoughts shared below are my own.
A month ago I made a commitment and in that month, I kept my promise to myself. I did not promise myself that I would never make a mistake. I did not promise myself that I would lose a certain number of pounds. I simply made the decision that I would follow this program to the best of my ability and give it my best. My month-long program is officially over and my results are here!
Kristie Tapper is my long-time friend and Arbonne consultant that I told you all about in my last two blogs. I had the amazing privilege (thanks to Kristie) of taking part in Arbonne's 30 days to healthy living program and I'm going to share with you all of my results!
As you can see in the picture above, I had quite a few products to incorporate into my daily nutrition and there was also a good amount of products that were removed from my diet. This is crucial to the success of the program and the way it is formulated. These products are meant to work in harmony together within your body to begin changing your systems for the better. In order to achieve this, I had to cut out sugar, dairy, coffee and processed foods.
Some of you read that and immediately became turned off. I understand because I was a little skeptical myself. However, switching over to Almond milk was not a process since my family uses it 50% of the time. Cutting out cheese was a little difficult. Cutting out coffee was definitely hard for me, and I would be lying if I said I did not drink coffee during the entire 30 day program. I did. Not a lot, but a few times. When I did, I used almond milk and organic stevia which was very pleasant. Do not follow what I did with coffee because I can see why coffee needs to be removed. The acidity in coffee really works against your body while trying to achieve total health.
I was able to reduce my acid reflux medication by half. I predict in another month or two, I may be able to reduce by half again. Cutting out acidic foods and MOSTLY cutting out coffee have really proven to be beneficial for me and many others.
I can honestly tell you this program was not difficult. I made sure to always have everything I needed on hand so that I would grab what I should grab when it came time to eat. I drank my shakes and they were delicious. I used my nutribullet and combined ice, almond milk, chocolate protein powder and almond butter. I have enjoyed these shakes so much, I will continue making them even though my program is officially ending
I do have two before and after photos to show you, but before I do, I want you to keep an open mind about something. Three years ago, I had bariatric surgery (as most of you know) and I lost 100 pounds very quickly. I have kept that 100 pounds off for almost the entire three years, until recently. Over the summer, I had some health issues and ended up gaining 10 pounds back. I know it's not such a huge deal, but it did frighten me a little bit. I felt myself being triggered by my overweight past and knew I needed to get my grip back.
Kristie helped me do this. She was there for me and encouraged me every step of the way as did the lovely ladies in our private Facebook support group! I never felt alone or unsuccessful for one second. Even when I made mistakes, I got back on the horse and continued along the path.
All that to say, my specific body is not going to drop weight as quickly as someone who has not lost weight in many years. For this, I am very happy to report that I did lose 6 pounds and I have been able to tell a difference in the way that I look and feel.
Like I said, the change is subtle, but it is there. I could not be happier with my results which is why I am going to continue on and set a new goal. I want to lose an additional 5 pounds by the time the new year is here. I believe I can and I'm claiming that I will!
It's a little awkward to post "before and after" pictures of yourself on a platform such as this, but I know I needed to show you my results and I try to be as open and honest as possible in my MBP writings. The change is ever so slight, but it is there. I feel better inside and out. I have slept better too. Because of all of the additional protein and vitamins I included in my diet with this plan, my body is operating much more efficiently and I'm loving that.
Walking away from this program, the one thing I want to share with each of you is that Arbonne's 30 Days To Healthy Living is doable and even enjoyable. You will never regret making a healthy choice for your body, whatever that may be.
If you want to connect with Kristie, she would love to tell you all about this program and help you through it, as she did with me. Contact her via email at: kristie.tapper@gmail.com and she would love to tell you all about the program.
It was not easy to be this raw and vulnerable so send me some love in the comments section and let me know what you think about my journey and if this may be something you would look into as well.
BLESSINGS,
