Thank you to our friends at Avoseedo for providing me a unique product in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts are my own.
In my home avocados are as popular as peanut butter or milk. Mind you I don't even like avocados, but my husband does. I was introduced to Avoseedo and wondered if growing my own avocados would be more cost effective in the off season.
I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of using the system but also the additional grow your own products such as The Grasshead. The Grasshead is simply a quirky take on a similar product we all know as the Chia Pet. Now, I grew up watching infomercials on the Chia Pet and it never held my interest. Opening the package from Avoseedo I was so excited to do The Grasshead- this one was for me.
Here is Mr. Man- of course I named him 🙂.
In less than 3 days Mr. Man started growing hair. The effort to put forth is minimal but the outcome was amazing to watch. It is like a little science experiment in my kitchen. Mind you it is the only science experiment I have ever been successful with.

Here is Mr. Man before his first haircut. This mane of grass took less than a week to grow this much.
After the first haircut- The smell of cutting it was so pleasant. Not quite fresh cut lawn but similar and sweeter. I love taking care of him and I will admit that Mr. Man gets greeted every morning and talked to like one of my family members. He is so much fun.
Grow your own Avocados?
Now seriously, I was concerned that I would not be able to do this part and give the best advice or review on how to do it. It is winter in Connecticut and I didn't think I would have success in growing an avocado in this climate. How was this possible? In the comfort of my own home. No digging in the dirt for me- thank goodness as I am not interested in finding worms or other creepy crawlers next to me.

How it Works- 7 Easy Steps
Step 1: Get an avocado
Step 2: Remove the pit from the avocado
Step 3: Peel Away the skin from the pit
Step 4: Place the pit with the flat side down into the Avoseedo
Step 5: Place the Avoseedo into a bowl of water
Step 6: Change the water every 2-3 weeks- Use the flag to date or mark breed of avocado
Step 7: Watch it Grow
