We are a family on the go. If there's one thing I dislike, it's sitting around. We're pretty lucky to have a little flexibility in our jobs which allows us to take day trips with our kiddos. Since I am self-employed, and hubs works both during the day and at night, and we volunteer for lots of different programs and teams at our church, we're sort of all over the map. When I started to think about the type of bag that would be best for our family, a backpack came to my mind first. Everywhere I look, I see moms and dads with backpacks, rather than traditional diaper bags or totes. I sort of felt like I had tried everything- except a backpack. It seemed completely practical, so I was more than willing to give a backpack a shot for keeping us organized.

While I am hardly the 'type' to walk around with a backpack at the zoo, I am proud to say that I have been completely converted, and it's all thanks to Lug and their amazing products. I can usually be found cramming crayons into my designer handbags... not a good idea, to tell the truth. I've ruined many a purse with sticky fruit snack wrappers, leaking bubbles or juice boxes, etc. That stuff belongs somewhere else!

We didn't waste any time putting our new Puddle Jumper Backpack to the test. We took it to church the Sunday after we received the bag... a day where we bring a lot of items with us for the kiddos. I usually bring along coloring pads, crayons, water bottles, snacks, a small and quiet toy, change of clothes for Bean, wipes, Pull-ups, and all that jazz. As I filled up the backpack before we left the house that morning, I couldn't believe how easy it was to fit everything into the backpack, and to organize it all, too!

I comfortably carried the backpack around the museum all day on a recent trip over spring break. It was so great to be able to comfortably tour the museum without worrying about a purse, and being able to quickly grab snacks or anything else we needed. It gave me a secure way to carry my wallet, keys, and phone, along with everything else we needed for the day.

We've taken the Puddle Jumper just about everywhere we've gone in recent weeks- to the park, to the beach (it was awesome for the car ride down), and everywhere in between. It's been so comfortable for me to carry, which has also been a huge plus. If we encounter leaks or spills, the backpack is easy to wipe clean in a jiff!
