Who Runs the World: Girls Girls {Books for the Kiddos from The Quarto Group} + #GIVEAWAY

Did you know there are several days of the year that celebrate women? Women's History Month is March and International Women's Day is March 8th. Have you heard of International Day of the Girl? "The day aims to highlight and address the needs and challenges girls face while promoting girls' empowerment and the fulfillment of their human rights." Most recently we celebrated Mother's Day!

All of the books below can connect to the celebration of women, whether it is Mom you are celebrating or the celebration of incredibly smart and resilient women, there is something for everyone!

I must admit I was pleasantly surprised with the content when I received these books! There is much to read and these would be great for your littles who have started reading. These took a bit longer than I expected to read with my little, only because I was not expecting them to be as in depth as they were! It took several nights for us to get through these books. Luckily for me, I have a little who loves to be read to!

The four books we received were: My Mom Always Looks After Me So Much!, Boss The Bestseller List Like J.K. Rowling, Brilliant Ideas from Wonderful Women and The Great Big Book of Life.

All of these books are illustrated bright and beautifully. If you read with your littles nightly like I do, My Mom Always Looks After Me So Much and The Great Big Book of Life will be better suited for them.

The sweetest illustrations are in this book!

The Great Big Book of Life explains life from the beginning to death. There is so much information that is shared in this book! I would venture to say this book is a conversation starter for many topics about life and can help explain them on a child's level. What I like most about this book is the use of diversity and how inter-generational it is.

Diversity and inclusion are featured throughout this book!

Boss The Bestseller List Like J.K. Rowling and Brilliant Ideas from Wonderful Women would be better suited for elementary aged children who are learning or know how to read. (My little still enjoyed looking through the pictures!)

Your mini Potter fans will love to read about the life story of J.K. Rowling in Boss The Bestseller List Like J.K. Rowling. She has an amazing and inspirational life story. The illustration in this book are so vibrant and stand out.

Pops of color and are featured all throughout this book!

Did you know that until 1951 diapers were made out of cloth? You have Marion O' Brien Donovan to thank for making our lives as Mom's so much easier! I sure love to use my windshield wipers when it rains! Were these invented by a woman too? Yep, you guessed it! These women and more are featured in Brilliant Ideas from Wonderful Women.

Fun facts will be learned by all while reading this book!
