Little Bear started
eating People Food (I mean “Solids”) a few months ago and I can safely say that
he LOVES food! He gobbles up basically everything
that we put in front of him. But I found
that when we go out I was spending a ton of money for pre-packaged snack
mixes. Those little boxes of pre-cut
cheese, fruit, and such were oh-so convenient, but oh-so expensive versus buying the
items themselves; I had to find something that would cut that cost! Enter Precidio’s snack and drink boxes! These super cute boxes are perfect for drinks
and snacks on the go!
Drink in theBox looks just like a traditional juice box--cue major nostalgic vibes of elementary school lunches--but is made of BPA Free hard plastic so I
can fill it with whatever drink I want LB drinking that day (read: water)! But unlike a traditional juice box, it has a lid, making it water-tight when closed! And it can take a beating! LB has reached the "drop-everything-on-the-floor-so-mom-has-to-pick-it-up" phase and Drink in the Box took approximately 1000 drops on its first trip out without a scratch or ding in sight! Plus, eventhough he was dropping it with the lid open, it didn't spill much at all (especially compared to if he'd dropped a normal straw cup).

Snack in the Box is shaped very similarly to Drink in the Box--yay for fitting well together in my overstuffed diaper bag--and has a swing back lid, but is divided to keep two snacks, perfect for a long day out so I can carry a variety of snacks! I also really like that the top comes off completely (in addition to swing up lids for each side) so it's easy to fill!

If I'm being perfectly honest, I was very tempted when I first saw these to commandeer them for "mama's use" (I am very easily drawn by nostalgia). But, I learned that they offer Adult versions too, which come in more subdued colors and larger sizes, and there's even one for coffee! So now LB and I can share our -in the Boxes and enjoy snack outings together! I can safely say that I will be using Drink and Snack in the Box for LB's outings for a long time to come!
