If you've ever been curious about "natural" skincare and beauty products but find it all a bit overwhelming, I invite you to hang out with me today.
You can easily spend 70-100 dollars on skincare products that boast "all natural" ingredients. The reality is, it does cost more money for companies to source high quality ingredients and label themselves as "vegan" or "organic" etc. I've always felt like we should have access to clean and safe skincare products without having to pay astronomical prices.
I discovered a company that also feels this way! CLN & DRTY has bridged the gap between high quality ingredients and a price point that most of us can get behind. One of the biggest factors to take into consideration about all natural skincare products is how far they stretch. When the ingredients are pure and not diluted with large percentages of water, you do not need to use much.
The Glow Mask ($28) is a very creamy mask that has turmeric, carrot seed oil, kaolin clay and almond oil. It claims to reduce inflammation, redness and pull impurities from the skin. I have enjoyed using this mask on my face and my hands. Recently, I read that women show their age on their hands and their necks. Why not apply this mask to your neck and hands?! My skin was left feeling so soft and nourished. Sometimes, I tend to feel that I do not look "well" without some sort of makeup veil on my skin. My skin tone is blotchy with redness and I have acne scaring as well. This mask actually caused me to do a double-take in the mirror. I even did the "lean in" move to get a closer look at my skin. It truly did diminish the qualities about my face that make me want to cover them up!
I'm working on becoming more confident and feeling beautiful without makeup. I have never been a woman that feels you need a full face of makeup in order to look attractive. In fact, I often feel that a clean face sans makeup is the most beautiful a woman can be. Enjoying the artistic aspect of makeup, I love to play around with it and also love the way it adds life to my face sometimes. Is it a requirement to feel pretty? Absolutely not! I hope you feel the same way about your own beautiful skin.
What I noticed about the Lavender Coffee eye cream ($26) is how very little is actually needed! This eye cream is going to last a very long time. A tiny dab around the eyes is all you need. I do not tend to get substantial bags under my eyes but I get very dark circles and have my entire life. I am looking forward to continuing to use this product in the coming weeks and months and seeing a reduction in my dark under eye circles. I can already see in just a few short days how the skin around my eyes is healthier looking. Coffee infused oils perks up the skin and helps with wrinkles, bags and circles.
