We got a little bit of a head start last night, with the Harvest Festival at R's school. Some pumpkin and cookie decorating, fun activities in the gym, a raffle (D actually won two prizes!), and lots of fun memories to look back on. 

 

Today we are heading to the library for the 15th Annual Mardi Gross and Halloween Comic Fest. We brought the girls last year and they had such a great time. My favorite part was when they got caricatures done by a local comic artist. I'm hoping he's there again this year, I'd love to get another one. 

After the library, we'll be watching some movies from our must watch for Halloween. Then, a little later on, D and I will finish the last episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark? since she fell asleep last night before we could finish it.
