Moms are amazing and do so much for us like being our nurse when we're sick, being a short order cook, making our lunches to take to school, making sure we have clean clothes to wear on a daily basis, being a teacher, caregiver, maid, the list goes on and on. Not to discredit the Dad's out there, but honestly, this isn't about you! Your day is coming! So when it comes to Mother's day, we want to get it right. We want to get Mom a gift that she's going to love and cherish. If you're like me, that can be a hard task. I love to give gifts, but as we get older, it seems to get harder and harder every year.
That's why I was so delighted to be introduced to Groove Life, a company that makes silicone rings and watches. But these aren't your ordinary silicone rings, and watch bands. Groove Life founder Peter Goodwin was looking for the perfect ring to match his adventurous and active lifestyle, so he spent 6 months working nights, to perfect the Groove Life ring. The rings are made with their patented, breathable grooves that let air flow through the ring. They also have a lifetime (94 year)
Warranty on all of their products, and 100% stand behind their product and their customers. How awesome is that! I was intrigued to say the least.
Groove Life was kind enough to send me three rings to try, and I had a really hard time choosing because they have so many amazing designs. In the end, I ended up with three that I just couldn't live without, and one of them holds a very special meaning for me.

The Thin Air Sunset, is actually three separate rings, that are meant to be stacked together, but you can always wear them as separate pieces. The two end rings are a solid coral color, and the middle ring, oh the middle ring, it's gorgeous. The middle ring is a literal sunset on a ring. Corals, blues, and grays swirl around with a hint of white that captures an evening sunset on your finger. How they managed to put it into a ring is astonishing to me!
The Thin Aspire Leopard ring is for the leopard lover at heart. It is so stylish, and honestly an over all fun ring! Wearing leopard print brings me joy, and this is a ring that is going to be in my jewelry rotation for years to come. Leopard is the new neutral, and I am here for it!
The Thin Aspire Tuscan Ring is a gorgeous sunflower ring, that brings the beauty of outdoors to your finger. This ring was inspired by the Italian countryside, and Groove Life did a great job capturing that in a ring. This ring holds a very special meaning, and place in my heart, and when I saw it, it took my breath away. Now, when I got married, we had a very small, outdoor wedding in the country. My decorations and flowers consisted of sunflowers and hydrangeas, but mainly sunflowers. Every year, on our anniversary, my husband buys me a bouquet of sunflowers, and it means so much to me that he remembers that detail. So when I came across this ring, I knew I needed it. Wearing a wedding ring with a design that holds so much sentiment and so many memories to me, is a dream come true. I plan on wearing this ring during my anniversary month, as a reminder of our special day.
Groove Life rings are so comfortable to wear, that I honestly end up forgetting that I'm wearing one. Their patented breathable grooves made it easy to workout in, so much so that I didn't feel the need to take it off like I do with my normal rings. These were so easy to wear while walking my dogs, and I didn't have to worry about their leashes getting caught on or in between my rings, because that has happened many times with my original wedding ring. While playing tug-of-war with my puppy Luna, her tooth got under my ring, and I didn't have to worry about hurting her because of the soft silicone and the ring wasn't damaged at all!
On their website, Groove Life mentions that if your ring feels stiff or hard, that there is a typical one week break-in period. Once you've broken your ring in, it should feel softer, and more comfortable. Mine were comfortable from the get-go, but the longer I wear them I have noticed that they have become a bit softer, and I'm not mad at that! I'm officially a convert to Groove Life, and I can't stop telling everyone about them. I know I will be owning many more of rings in the future, I just can't get enough of them.
