Have a Ball this Summer with BuzzBallz, #MBPSUMMER20

When I'm on a beach vacation, toes in the water, sun on my face, there's nothing better than having a yummy drink in hand. Many beaches have rules that you must follow when it comes to what you can bring, beverage wise, on the beach. Most of the time if you are allowed to bring alcohol, it can't be in a glass container, which can really limit you to what you can bring with you. I enjoy a cold beer from time to time, but when I'm sitting at an ocean I want my drink to match that tropical beach vibe!

The trouble we kept running into, is everything we were interested in came in a glass bottle. Now, we could have very well poured these drinks into a different bottle or cup, but we really didn't want to deal with the possibility of a sweet drink spilling and getting sticky, attracting all kinds of beachy critters. So when I came across BuzzBallz, I thought they'd be perfect for a day of Fun in the Sun! BuzzBallz is adult-friendly, alcoholic drinks that come in Chillers, Cocktails, Biggies, and BuzzTallz.

My family and I were able to try out several of the Chillers while we were away at the beach. The Chillers come in round, plastic, pop-top style containers that easily fit into your hands for comfort and ease while you're out enjoying your day. They are small, but mighty, having 15% alcohol by volume in 187ml. So these things pack a punch! There are many different flavor options in the Chillers to try out including:

BuzzBallz was kind enough to send us Pineapple Colada, Horchata, Lime 'Rita, Ruby Red Grapefruit, and Strawberry "Rita. We were all so excited to head down to the beach to enjoy or day and some refreshing sounding BuzzBallz Chillers! Something to mention is BuzzBallz Chillers are in a small, round container with bright colors which can be confusing for small children. Please make sure that when indulging in them, you clearly explain that they are not juice and are for adults. Since we had my niece and nephew, we explained this to them, and we never had an issue with them being mistaken.

The BuzzBallz Chillers are made with orange wine, 100% juice, most have natural flavorings, but some do have artificial flavors and colors. This doesn't bother me one bit and didn't take away from the flavor of the Chillers at all. I was really excited to try the Pineapple Colada, as it contained some of my favorite flavors and had that tropical vibe I was looking for out on the beach! My sister and brother-in-law both decided to try the Lime 'Rita, as they were both in a margarita mood, and my parents split the Horchata. These little mamas are feisty and full of flavor, refreshing, and very smooth to drink.

All of us were very happy with our drink selections. The Pineapple Colada was full of yummy pineapple and coconut flavor, strong but very good. I could have easily had two or three but I knew I needed to pace myself, especially being out in the hot sun, no one needed to get sick! My sister and brother-in-law loved the Lime 'Rita and said that it really filled their cravings for a margarita. We even talked about how good these would be over crushed ice, or making our own blended version with these and some fresh fruit! After my mom took her first sip of the Horchata and gave it to my dad to try, he told her to get her own, lol. He liked it so much he didn't want to share with her since we only brought one of the Horchata's down with us that day, she decided to try the Lime 'Rita and she enjoyed that immensely.

Now, don't worry about anyone drinking and driving. We are a responsible family and my husband does not drink, so he was able to safely drive us back the few blocks to our beach house. (Please always make sure that you have a designated driver when out drinking, please don't drink and drive.) Once back at the house and cleaned up, we started getting dinner prepared and we were able to try out the Ruby Red Grapefruit and the Strawberry 'Rita, which were both fantastic! The grapefruit was so refreshing after a hot day, it was just what I needed to cool down with. The Strawberry 'Rita was great too, my mom really enjoyed it and she ended up mixing a bit of the Lime 'Rita she had leftover with the Strawberry to make herself a strawberry Limeaid type drink, which she really enjoyed!

All in all, we really enjoyed our BuzzBallz Chillers and we loved the fact that they are recyclable, but don't worry if you don't recycle them or you forget to. BuzzBallz plastic is made with ENSO RESTORE, which is an enzyme that helps to break down the plastic and speed up decomposition so the plastic breaks down in a few years. That's huge, and it's something I wish more companies utilized as recycling is not always available in certain areas of the country or even the world. BuzzBallz, a woman-owned company, is a great addition to your Summertime activities and readily available in many stores across the country. This makes me happy as I can run up to my local convenience store and go grab a few for dinner or to take to a friend's house.
