Happy Saturday, friends! It's the first official weekend of Fall and I'm ready to celebrate! Well, sort of. Nearly everything that I look forward to doing during my favorite season of the year looks wildly different this year. I can't tell you how badly I'm yearning to visit our favorite pumpkin patch, but I'm still really hesitant, despite all of the social distancing and sanitizing procedures in place.

I'm trying my best not to be overly fearful, but some days I find that more difficult than others. The girls are doing well overall, but nothing about our days have been entirely normal, since March, and I don't want there to be long term (negative) effects on their mental health. Aside from them actually catching the virus, I think I worry about their mental health most of all. 

Today we'll be visiting "Spaghetti Grandma" because that is one thing we've been trying to hold onto during all of this, especially since we had to put our visits on pause for a little while so that we could be sure we were keeping her as safe as possible. I'm hoping tomorrow the nice weather holds out and we actually do get to visit our favorite pumpkin patch or maybe just go for a nice walk in a quiet park to check out how the leaves are changing.
