Do you have someone in your family that's hard to shop for and never know what to get them? I find myself in this predicament each year because certain family members are almost impossible to shop for. This year is different though. I decided to look and think outside of the box and find things that are functional and practical for these family members. My dad is especially hard to shop for, as he really has very few hobbies other than reading. So I decided to go off of that. What does one need when reading or spending time at home, especially if they are social distancing?

Since my dad likes to read, he not only reads hard copies of books, he enjoys reading on his tablet and phone, which can lead to his devices needing to be charged. If you are reading in bed, you need a lamp to see at night, and if your devices need to be charged, well the only logical option is to find a lamp that can do both. But what if there is a lamp out there that can do that and more? I didn't think it was possible until I came across the LumiCharge Smart Lamp and was immediately impressed by what they had to offer.

Since my father has a hard time seeing at night, I am more than elated to know that there is a motion sensor light feature that will help him see his way to the bathroom, or to the door. Since he likes to read at night, the different LED color and brightness options are going to be perfect for him and it won't disturb my mom while she's sleeping. The wireless charging dock will help to eliminate unnecessary cords that could possibly trip him up at night, and the rotating charging dial means he can charge different types of devices on the lamp, even his new android phone that has a C-type charger! If you have a device that takes a C-type charger, you know how exciting that is!

Lumicharge's sleek and stylish product designs are great for a variety of homes and offices. I'm so impressed with the Lumicharge II, that I am considering getting one for my husband's grandfather, who is almost 96, and suffers from dementia.
