It's International Dinosaur Day! Nothing makes my kiddos happier than dinosaurs! From a very early age, both have been interested in dinosaurs, and have loved everything from dino-related movies and shows to clothing, activities, and yes, even the famed T-Rex restaurant at Disney Springs. Today, however, we're hanging out with our pals from Disney Junior's hit animated series, Dino Ranch!

If you haven't seen Dino Ranch (don't worry, I'll show you some clips!), you're sorely missing out! Highlighting teamwork and friendship, the adventure series introduces little Dino-Mites to a “pre-westoric” world where dinos roam a working farm and sanctuary. Full of adventure, fun and life lessons, the ranch is managed by the tight-knit Cassidy family, including Ma, Pa, their three adopted children, Jon, Miguel and Min, and their best dino friends, Blitz, Clover and Tango.

We love this wonderful show and its cast of fun characters. There's always an adventure waiting for your littles on the Dino Ranch, and my kids can't wait to tune in and find out what will happen next!

As for International Dinosaur Day, we've been having so much fun playing and learning with our Dino Ranch friends! We received some really cool Dino Ranch goodies to aid our playtime at home. Our Dino Ranch goody box included some really fun items, like a Dino Ranch cinch backpack! Beanie has been loving this backpack and has already requested to bring it along on our summer vacation in a couple of weeks. It'll be awesome for her to keep her backseat activities in for the car trip!

The Dino Ranch puzzle is so cute! Beanie loved coloring the pieces to make it her own, and then putting it together again and again!

Since we're on summer break, the activity sheet on the back of the Dino Ranch poster has helped us stay current with skills needed for Kindergarten. Activities like dot-to-dot, spot the difference and letter tracing/writing are even more fun with our favorite Dino Ranch friends!

We decided to use our dino cookie cutters to make dino stamps in the sand, and then went on a fossil dig! Beanie had so much fun stamping out different dinosaurs and dino-related shapes into kinetic sand. We also buried a few of her brother's small plastic dino toys in the sand for a 'dig'.
