Happy Saturday, friends! Even though it's summer and we generally try not to spend too much time in front of the television, we have discovered some pretty great shows. I guess we can thank all of the rain we've been getting lately. Well, the rain and the fact that sometimes we need a break from rainy day reading. 

1. The Mysterious Benedict Society (Disney+)- Our pal Di @FSMMedia shared a post on Twitter and I knew we had to check it out. I'm so glad we did, because each episode has us caught up in the mystery and speculating on what could happen next. We've not read the books yet, but will soon. 

2. She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (Netflix)- The girls saw this suggested and holy wow did my nostalgia kick in! The show is not the same as the She-Ra I grew up with, but it's absolutely awesome in its own right. 

3. The Baby-Sitters Club  (Netflix)- Another nostalgia trip with this one. We found the original books a few years ago, we've seen the original series and movie, and now we are watching the 2020 reboot. I adore how they have managed to modernize the stories while keeping the general 'vibe'of the books.

4. Gravity Falls (Disney+ and Hulu)- This show is a little weird to me, but since both girls enjoy it a great deal it made the list. Fun note- the actress that voices Mabel in this series, plays Number Two in The Mysterious Benedict Society.
