Summer Boredom Busters from Buffalo Games + Pop It #Giveaway

While my kiddos are preparing to head back to school, there are plenty of kids who don't start school quite this early. Lots of families are still heading out on road trips, making the most of the rest of their summer break. We've had a lot of fun summer adventures, and while I'm sad to see summer break end, it's inevitable. Our trips wouldn't have been as wonderful and smooth as they were, had it not been for some really fun entertainment options for the kids. Sure, they had their hands on their tablets and game systems off and on, but we also made sure that they had some good old-fashioned non-screen activities to do while traveling, too. It's all about balance, right?

These magnetic foam tangram puzzles are great to take on summer road trips.

We have had so much fun playing with the Shape Makers. From figuring out how to solve puzzles and making different shapes, to creating our own unique scenes with the included pieces, our family has loved playing with this set. It's a great little set to have on hand for those 'I'm bored' moments on a trip, and equally fun to play with at home. The most popular toy of the year - our never-ending bubble popping game never gets boring, is easy to pack (no additional parts or pieces), and is quick to clean.

I almost can't believe how obsessed kids are with these, but they are! Pretty much every child I know over the age of four has one or more of these toys. Teachers, get ready to see them in your classrooms again! These are really fun to sit and pop over and over again. They're fairly quiet, and keep kids entertained for hours! We have some of these in various shapes and sizes, and the kids just go crazy over them. Want a winner or a gift for a kid's birthday? Definitely include a Pop It in their birthday bag!

These activities and games are just right for kids ages 3+. My kids are 10 and 5, and they both love playing with all three of these cool games. I love that they are screen-free and really do keep the kids entertained. The lower price points make them great gift options for those birthday parties that we're being invited to again!
