I don't like hosting at my house but for some reason Vanessa talked me into doing Christmas Eve at my house this year. Normally, I would be mortified and dreading all the work leading up to it but this Christmas is going to be a happy one for me. 

E will be home, I've planned the menu, the presents are here, and the games will build new traditions. I'm so excited for it. As I get older I remember bits and pieces of what Christmas was like when I was a kid and the only common theme was family. It's time to bring that back.
