The cabins are located right on a river. When you step out onto your balcony, you are surrounded with the picturesque scene of wildlife. Before we checked out, we enjoyed our coffee in the porch swing right outside of our upstairs bedroom. It was such a peaceful and relaxing time. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Although trails are conveniently located at the resort, you are just a short drive from an abundance of outdoor activities that include Looking Glass Falls, Catawba Falls, Kellog Center Nature Trails, and so much more! You are also right down the road from the Biltmore Estate and all it has to offer. 

I am a major foodie, so of course we had to find a great restaurant. We decided to try Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, a farm-to-table restaurant and brewery. The food landed this in the top five places I have eaten at and that is saying quite a bit since I used to live in New York City. It's hard to believe, but the brews were even better! Before we left the restaurant, I was already trying to plan another time to go back.  We also went to our favorite places in downtown Asheville - Red Ginger Dimsum and Tapas and the French Broad Chocolate Lounge - before we left for home the next day. 

With the Asheville Museum of Science and the WNC Air Museum nearby, this stay would be so much fun for the whole family. Not to mention, the resort offers an amazing pool on site. I know my two kids would want to hang out there our whole stay if we would let them. Trust me when I say you should book your next getaway here. I am confident you won't be disappointed!
