At the Greensboro Coliseum this weekend, September 22-24, 2023, Jurassic Quest showcases true-to-life-sized dinosaurs as well as walking dinosaur rides, inflatable attractions, fossil digs, and more!

Upon arriving at this amazing event, we were greeted at the gates by the awesome Dino Trainer Brianna. She walked us through the showcase of life-sized dinosaurs and introduced us to all of the different species. My two little ones loved seeing their favorite dinosaurs up close.

At the fossil table, we were able to see many real-life fossils and castings of prehistoric creatures and remains. As a science teacher, I was definitely "geeking out" over this. My dino-obsessed son enjoyed seeing a real Megalodon tooth as well as vertebrae the size of my daughter's face from a massive prehistoric creature.

The excitement beaming off my two was contagious and my husband and I found ourselves eager to explore as well.

My son and daughter loved the dinosaur-themed inflatables, but also really enjoyed pretending to be real-life archaeologists at the fossil dig.

Although my little guy developed a fear of heights when trying to get on one of the animatronic rides, my daughter climbed right onto the back of a parasaurolophus and grinned from ear to ear as it moved with her on it.

At the play area, my two loved climbing the dinosaur slides and figures and posing for the camera with them.

As raptors are my son's favorite, a highlight of the night was when we got to attend the raptor training with Diego the Utahraptor. The show was comical and everyone loved the personality Diego has, and how he interacts with the audience. 

I believe our favorite part of the experience was meeting and petting the baby dinosaurs - Tyson the T-Rex, Tina the T-Rex, and Cammie the Camarasaurus.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely go again the next time they are in the area. All of the dinosaur trainers were knowledgeable and incredibly kind. You could tell that they really love what they do. Each of them interacted so well with all of the children of all ages and provided us with a great evening to remember.
