CheeseBits: The Bite Sized Holiday Snack!

Cheese plates and Charcuterie Boards are at the top of everyone's holiday appetizer lists. This holiday season, instead of spending the time cutting up cheese blocks, do yourself a favor and grab CheeseBits Mozzamini pearls and tots.

Artisanal cheese that is made of just a few ingredients to give us that smooth milky taste that we love. CheeseBits flavors resemble a mixture of provolone and fresh mozzarella. This product does contain milk but is gluten-free. Made with California milk, these pearls are creamy and taste amazing! Be sure to refrigerate, but it's recommended to serve at room temp.

Currently, CheeseBits offers three flavors:

Original: Available in tots, sticks, or pearls; these have your classic fresh mozzarella flavor in just a small bite! These are perfect for lunches, on-the-go snacks, and even meal additions. Instead of buying an entire bag or block of cheese for a party that will sit in your fridge's drawer molding away, grab one of these containers and don't worry about leftovers!

Wood Smoked: Also available in sticks, pearls, and tots; the Wood Smoked flavor is bite sized too and is a great addition to any board or snack!

Wasabi: I have to admit, Wasabi as a cheese flavor probably isn't my go-to, but in this case, it works. Especially as a topping or addition to your favorite foods. It gives your toasts, pizzas, and pastas an extra kick. I've really only used wasabi as a sushi base in soy sauce, so I'm not really comfortable with this flavor palate in other foods. Yet, I was pleasantly surprised. It was creative, but it wasn't so powerful that I was running for a glass of milk!

Tots are cherry sized, Pearls are pea-sized, and Sticks resemble string sticks. Each is great for snacking and appetizers, although the Pearls are probably more ideal for appetizers.

There are probably several ways that you can use your Mozzamini's in your food creations as well. Although a little small for breading and frying, these would work well as toppings on anything you might put cheese on! Soups, salads, pizzas, additions in your tacos all make great ways along with traditional snacking. These aren't really "spreadable" but could be cut up if needed!

I found each Mozzamini flavor smooth and creamy, with a wonderful texture. Sometimes cheese can be hardly and crumbly, and it just plain doesn't taste good. Having these bite sized pieces as tots or pearls is great because then I don't feel like I have to eat a slice of cheese! i would highly recommend you check them out this holiday season.

Be sure to add CheeseBits to your Holiday check list this year! If your kiddos love cheese but have a tendency to leave half of their stick or piece on their plate, this is a great way to indulge and take a small bite. Mozzamini selections would be a great hostess gift, a great addition to any holiday party, or even a gift for your cheese loving friend or family member!
