Crafting has been a way of life for a long time. Growing up, I remember learning how to knit and embroider from those around me. I never got into quilting, but the intrigue and mystery is there. My patience is minimal, though, and I often get frustrated when something goes wrong.

The Video introduces the artisan/ leader, the materials, and how the rest of the video will work. The artisan gives tips, reviews the provided tools, and provides closeup shots of how to utilize the tools to create the project. I think that my niece will really enjoy this gift!
I like how this paper tutorial was included on the loom, as well. Sometimes videos go so fast and it can be hard to watch the demonstrations as the camera angles move on. The paper copy will also help our children figure out how to utilize the supplies.. and us, when they come asking for help!
This is a great way to introduce a new craft medium and provide teens a way to grow in their skills. Crafter Kids currently has a few options to check out and each option also has a "friends & sibling kit" as an add-on so that your teen could host a party, create the project with their family, or have their bestie over for a few hours of fun.
