Bench Scrapes are square blades made especially for scraping and cutting dough. The blade is sharp enough to cut but allows the sticky dough to still do its own thing and not stick too bad. I've used various kinds of bench scrapers, and my favorites are real blades versus silicone or plastic. Those always seem to stick more. 

Personally, I love using mine to make my family's holiday candy dough. It is a mix of powdered sugar, condensed milk, and vanilla. It's frozen, so a bench scrape is perfect for diving it into portions to roll out (and keep the other pieces frozen) as well as cutting the roll into pieces. 

This particular Bench scraper is created with high quality 304 stainless steel. This grade of steel not only provides precision in lifting and cutting dough; it also helps prevent corrosion and durability, making it a long-lasting tool in the kitchen, no matter what batter is thrown its way. Brass rivets not only provide pretty decoration, but help hold structural integrity intact. The Maple Wood handle makes this tool easy to hold and at .36 lbs, it's super light to use! Having lightweight but durable tools is a must in the pastry world too. Unwieldy bench scrapes can be dangerous, especially if the blade isn't fully intact. 

The 6-Inch Straight Baking Spatula is a typical icing spatula. The straight blade is perfect for sliding under layers of cakes as well as icing layer cakes, cupcakes, and sides of cakes! The straight blade is perfect for smoothing icing and creating sharp corners too! Professionals say that straight blades are sturdier and easy to use in smaller areas than the offset spatula.

Handcrafted with 410 Steel, the baking spatula has a POM (Polyoxymethylene) handle that not only helps the baker keep a good grip on the tool, but also be comfortable with those long sessions of decorating. The Handle color is white/ rosewater and brass rivets help create a structural integrity to the product along with providing design. 

The Offset Spatulas are very thin tools, thinner than butter knives, that are flexible in both blade and use. They are perfect for bakers because they help keep space between the baker's knuckles and the pastry. Whether it's icing a cake, decorating, or perhaps even cutting, the offset handle allows extra space and movement. Offset spatulas can also be used in other cooking projects- whether It's for protein, starches like potatoes, or even flipping your roast veggies in the pan! 

The 4 & 6 inch blades are really great for smaller pastry projects, smaller areas, and smaller cakes! They create more precision in movement and better edging, decorating, and other pastry skill needs. Offset spatulas can also be used to slide between the pastry and the pan, preventing your brownies from crumbling, your cheesecakes from caving in, and allowing better ease at removing slices and pieces. 

Both the offset spatulas also feature 410 stainless steel, brass rivets, and a POM handle to help the unique design be durable, corrosion free, and stable for long term use.
