Happy Easter, friends! Christ is Risen, Alleluia! Today, my family and I join Christians around the world, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Hubby and I will be helping to lead music for our church's Easter services, and then we'll head home, where we will celebrate Easter with our extended family.

I have a lovely ham, am making some yummy sides, an Oreo dirt cake at my oldest daughter's request (as we're also celebrating her birthday today), and have treats ready for my niece and nephew, too. The Easter Bunny left baskets for the kiddos last night, and we'll have a family egg hunt this afternoon. Tomorrow, it'll be back to business as usual, but for today, we will slow down and enjoy the celebration around the story of the greatest gift ever given. What a glorious day!
