Thanks to Be the Hoss for providing me with product for this post. All thoughts are my own.
You know what's interesting about teens? Everything. I was a young teen over twenty-five years ago. It still seems like it was just yesterday that I was trying to figure out who I was as a person, what I liked, and what I wanted more than anything, was to be liked by everyone else. I see so much of myself in my teenage son today. There's the attitude, the thought that parents know nothing and can't possibly relate to a teenager, the self-confidence issues, and the overwhelming desire to please everyone and most of all, fit in.
I remember being bullied by other girls because I was different from them. I didn't speak like they did, dress like they did, or even care about any of the things they cared about. I hadn't been exposed to country clubs, preppy attire, or name brands, and never realized that I was different from anyone else until these mean girls not so nicely pointed it out to me every chance they got. Years later, I chalked all of that behavior up to their own lack of self-confidence and flat-out jealousy. I wish I could have seen that then, and I wish I could convince my teenage son that he's likely dealing with kids who have similar issues. My course of action was to always take the high road, ignore those kids, and just keep on being my 'different' self. I encourage my son to do the same, and proudly, he does.
B is an active kid who loves basketball, and theatre arts. He's musically gifted like the majority of his family, and our church is his second home. He loves to volunteer, is an amazing big brother, and an excellent student. He cares deeply for his friends and wants everyone to be able to experience life as he knows it.

Our favorites?
Hoss Athletic Shirt - This shirt is breezy and cool, and is perfect for everyday wear or for active play. It's a favorite for basketball, running on the trails, or keeping up with younger siblings. It comes in a variety of colors and is easy to wash and wear again.
Hoss Compression Shorts- B loves these shorts! They help him feel secure, but are so lightweight and comfortable! They are awesome for keeping him cool because they wick moisture away... a guy's best friends, especially when it starts warming up outside.
Top it off with a Hoss Co. Hat!
Hoss Athletic Hats are the perfect accessory. My boy has a thing for hats, and was jazzed to add a Hoss Co. hat to his hat collection. He loves the preppy pink, and I have to say- I always love to see guys in pink, so this is a win in my book.
B loves his cool outfit from Hoss Co. He's already worn the shorts a couple of times and has asked for more pairs. He's a big fan of Hoss Co., and so am I.
