Sweet summertime! We've finally made it to summer break, and we are so ready for some time away! For our family, it wouldn't feel like summer without a family vacation. Last summer, we took a road trip out to the Midwest to visit my mom's side of the family in Missouri. From there, we went to Oklahoma to visit my sister and bro-in-law. We were gone for two weeks- a long time to be away from home with three kids.

This summer is a little less exciting in terms of travel, but we have a few little trips and a family vacay coming down the pipe. We'll take a day trip or two up to the mountains in Blowing Rock/Boone, and Asheville. Fingers are crossed that we can work in a quick trip to TN to see Sacha's grandparents, who are no longer able to travel. Our beach week is coming up, and we'll be joining my parents, as well as my sister and brother-in-law at North Topsail Island- one of our favorite NC beaches. We haven't been back to TI since S was little, so I am very much looking forward to our week there.

My kids are busier than I am this summer- with a week at camp, a mission trip, and a day camp coming up. We already spent a full week at church for VBS... no one will be bored this summer, that's for sure!
