When I stop and think about the age differences between my children (five years between each of them, with a ten year gap between oldest and youngest), my head can get rather polluted with noise. We could have done things differently, but circumstances, anxiety, and timing all came into play, of course. So many questions swirl around. Will they be close as adults? Will they look out for each other when I'm gone?

As I ponder these thoughts, they keep on living their best lives as siblings, and doing all the things I worry about. Loving on each other, playing together, older kids looking out for younger kids, oldest living up to his namesake as protector.

Mama, there's no need to worry. You're doing a great job raising your babies, and they show you just by living. Get out of your head, look with your heart, and soak in those moments.
