Thanks to Heirloom for allowing me to create a video book in exchange for a review. All thoughts are my own.

My sister is a self-professed "book lady" as she is a lover and seller of Paper Pie Products. She also loves to take photos/ video, and loves to travel. Once a year, we travel together without kiddos, and recently, we have started to take kiddos on trips with us, sometimes together, sometimes separate. 

When I heard about Heirloom Video Books, I knew this would make a fabulous gift for her this holiday season. We don't often purchase physical gifts for each other, as we mostly focus on experiences for us and the kids, but I knew this would be a physical gift she would love!

Heirloom creates video magic from our memories and turns it into a book! Customize front and back covers using photos or graphics you know your book recipient will love. Also create a video book using photos and videos that you have stored over the years. 

A Video book contains a 5" HD Screen, an uploaded video created by you, custom front and back covers, a charger, and also a way to personalize a message when opening the book!

Books currently have video lengths of 10, 20, or 60 minutes of video. The process is super simple! After creating an account, select the book's video length desired. Purchase the book and then head over to the Heirloom Video builder to continue. 

Choose your front and back cover from various designs, and then begin uploading your photos and videos.  It actually took longer to collect all the photos than it did to upload them! 

Moving photos around is simple with the tools provided, allowing you to arrange them in the order that you desire. For me, I chose a bunch of photos and videos from our past travel trips. Some were on social media that I downloaded, some I had her send to me (without knowing the purpose) and some I had from my own stock on Google Photos. 

To upload to Heirloom, they do need to be on your device, so wherever you get them from, you do need to have them available from your device or a flash drive. 

After arranging the order, personalize your book, finalize it by using the preview method, and watch carefully, as I did find I wanted to move some things around, and then be on your way to shipment! Music can also be added, and you can even upload your own, if you wish. 

The only feedback I have on that is that if your video contains sound, both the music selected and the original video sound will be heard. I didn't have a video editor to control that beforehand, but something to be aware of!

If you don't want to create a video using the video editor, you can also purchase a blank book and upload it at home. 

I got this book for my sister, but sent it in advance of the holiday season, since I was sending a package anyway. When she received it, she wasn't sure what it is, but said that she started to cry while watching the video, mostly because I chose videos of her kids growing up over the years!

 It certainly is a great gift for families who are not always together during the holiday seasons, or just together a couple of times a year. It's a great way to hold onto memories this holiday season and a fabulous gift idea!
