Holiday wear can be difficult in the southern states. It's too cool to go sleeveless, but it's not quite warm enough for the stylish jackets & cardigans our stores push when it's still 80 plus outside.

I was sent over the Ferand Women's Shawl Wraps with Pockets Open Front Fringe Poncho Cozy Knit Lightweight Cardigan Sweater in burgundy to test out. This is an open shawl that wraps around your shoulders/ back.  The shawl does not contain armholes, as it's meant to drape across your back and chest. There are also no fasteners. 

There are two pockets, one on each side, that while small, are good for keys or gloves. I probably wouldn't put my phone in them. 

The one-size- fits-most shawl also has pretty fringe at its bottom, giving it a rather stylish look. I washed my shawl before use, and it held up in the wash well, even the fringe. 

The burgundy color is deep and looks great. The material is acrylic and is quite breathable as well. With our cooler days recently, I have tested the shawl out, and it's a great lightweight item for fall sunny days, but it's not meant for bitter cold days. 

It would be perfect office attire for those of us who flash between hot and cold within 30 minutes, as its quick to take off/ put back on, or just push back from your arms if you get warm. 

It's a great addition to most dresses and even casual wear for a different look on your next outing!

Now, for summer wear! It's still warm here in Wilmington, and I'm headed on a cruise/ beach vacation next week. I decided to grab a new cover up from Ferand. This is also a one size fits most garment.
