It's the month of love.  Today, is the 2nd most popular day for getting engaged.  It brings back so many memories.  While I didn't get engaged in February, I love my proposal story. 

Chris and I met in 2000 at the local mall we both worked at.  We were instant friends but we had growing up to do and we lost contact. 7 years later me messaged me on MySpace and we have been together ever since.  In June of 2010 we had a family picnic to attend and made a pitstop at the mall where he said his parents were having car trouble.  I waited for him with our children in center court while he went to "help" his dad. The next thing I knew my son says "Hi, dad" and he is in full uniform with security taping him asking me to marry him. The owner of the mall knew us so well from our years of working there that she recorded it with her personal camera.  

It was romantic being brought back to the location our relationship started. Here we are almost 18 years into our relationship and I am so grateful for the mall I met him at. We go in from time to time, but it has changed so much. I still love it there.
