BEECH MOUNTAIN, NC (March 14, 2025) – The Land of Oz theme park has announced that its beloved Autumn at Oz event will be placed on pause for 2025 as the park undergoes a comprehensive assessment to ensure the long-term sustainability and continued excellence of the event.
Over the past several years, Autumn at Oz has experienced significant growth, welcoming record-breaking attendance and expanding its programming to create an even more immersive and magical experience. However, with this success comes the responsibility of maintaining the high standards that guests have come to expect.
The recent impact of Hurricane Helene on North Carolina also reinforced the importance of long-term preparedness. By taking this pause, Land of Oz will be able to make strategic improvements that protect the event’s legacy while enhancing the visitor experience for years to come.
While Autumn at Oz will not take place in 2025, the park remains committed to exploring new ways to share the magic of Oz with visitors. Plans for 2026 and beyond will be shared in the coming months.
