Self Care


Happy Saturday to all our readers. How was your week? Mine has been a bit stressful with work and other commitments but I read online today is National Body Care Day. I'm working on a full body care day starting from the inside out.

I am taking care of my body starting with my mind. I woke up and started a new book.  I chose a self-help book focusing on mental stimulation that helps with motivation and accountability.  It helps that today is book sale day at the library too. I will be finding new treasures to keep my mind at rest.

Last week, I invested in so many soaps and lotions from Bath and Body Works that I am pretty sure I should hold stock in them at this point. My skin has been so soft. It's funny how a little bit of self care can truly make you feel better.

To end the day, I will be using my led mask to boost collagen and help fight off the aging process. I'm not a hundred percent sure it works, but it does kind of creep my husband out and that brings me a lot of amusement.

Just remember, it's okay not to be okay, sometimes. To be able to take care of others, you need to first take care of yourself.
